Miikka is one of the pioneers in the mobile content business and has extensive experience, starting from early 2000 when he was setting-up the partnering organization for Sonera Zed in Scandinavia, driving deals and sourcing content and applications from several global media companies and international content providers. After that he was leading Zed's New technology/data services business launch at Zed HQ.
Miikka joined Nokia early 2005, heading business development team in Forum Nokia EMEA. The team was responsible to work with big Media companies and Content Aggregators to bring the content to Nokia devices. From June 1, 2007 Miikka came to China to head Forum Nokia in Greater China region and was promoted to head Forum Nokia Asia organization from Jan 1, 2008.
Prior entering the Mobile content & services business in 2000, Miikka was working at IBM leading different marketing teams in Finland, Sweden and
at IBM EMEA HQ in Paris.
